When it comes to hard floor and pet hair pickup, both the BuTure VC50 and the BuTure JR600 are effective choices. However, if I had to make a selection, I would opt for the JR600.

The BuTure JR600 is an ideal vacuum for those who value precise suction control and a wide range of suction adjustment options with its 10-level adjustment feature. Additionally, its 6-stage filtration system and user-friendly interface are noteworthy advantages.

On the other hand, if you prioritize the convenience of automatic surface sensing technology and the flexibility of pre-set speed options, the VC50 could be a good fit for your needs.

BuTure VC50 vs JR600: Differences

The JR600 emerges as the winner with a final score of 2-0 and 1 draw. Both vacuums exhibit impressive performance regarding hard floors and pet hair pickup. However, the JR600 stands out with its advanced filtration system and user-friendly interface.

Cleaning Performance

The Winner: Tie

Suction Modes & Sensor Technology

Both BuTure VC50 vs JR600 comes with 2 working modes: Automatic Mode and Manual Mode. However, these modes function differently.

Automatic Mode

BuTure JR600’s automatic mode is a game-changer with its innovative smart dust sensor. In this mode, the vacuum can “stay one step ahead” by automatically adjusting the suction power based on the amount of dust detected. It’s like having a vacuum that can “read between the lines” and adapt to the cleaning task at hand, making my cleaning experience hassle-free. For example, if there is a lot of dust, the vacuum will increase its suction power.

On the flip side, the BuTure VC50 flaunts its surface sensor technology in automatic mode. This feature allows the vacuum to seamlessly adapt to different floor types, optimizing suction power and runtime for carpets and hard floors. It’s like having a vacuum that can “switch gears” effortlessly, providing the right balance of power and performance.

As someone who has experienced both vacuums, I must say that the JR600’s dust sensor feature truly sets it apart. I do feel it helps me vacuum much easier and faster. On the other hand, while the surface sensor technology of the VC50 is a commendable innovation, I can’t help but feel that it doesn’t quite “take the cake” in this vacuum because tthe suction power is not the factor it should be improved. Even if it adjust the suction to be stronger in the carpet, it still do not perform well. The problemlies in its cleaner head. I will talk about it latter.

Manual Mode

The BuTure JR600 takes the lead with its unprecedented 10-level suction adjustment capability. The highest suction it can reach is 33KPa (10-33KPa). I have the freedom to “dial up” the power for tackling stubborn dirt or “dial down” for more delicate surfaces. This vacuum truly offers versatility and adaptability to various cleaning situations.

On the other hand, the BuTure VC50 offers a different approach in its Manual Mode. It gives users 3 distinct speed settings: 13Kpa, 23Kpa, and 33Kpa. This range of suction power options ensures there is a suitable speed to match every cleaning task, from a light surface cleaning to more intensive dirt removal. While it may have fewer suction power levels compared to the JR600, the VC50 still provides enough flexibility for efficient cleaning.

It’s clear that the more suction power levels a vacuum offers, the more versatile and adaptable it becomes. The wide range of suction levels in the BuTure JR600 allows for customized cleaning performance, making it a standout choice for those seeking precise suction control.

Cleaner Head & Cleaning Performance

The V-shaped anti-tangle brush roll
The V-shaped anti-tangle brush roll

Both of these vacuums come with a versatile tangle-free floor brush that is described to work excellently on carpets and floors.

However, I discovered that the so-called “brushes” are not really brushes at all. Instead, they are made up of fluffy beads or soft bristles. The brush also features a clever comb structure and a V-shaped roller, which prevent hair from getting tangled. This design is a real lifesaver for pet owners like me, as it ensures hassle-free cleaning without needing to remove tangled hair from the brush.

On hard floors, these vacuums truly shine. They effortlessly pick up small and large debris as well as pet hair, leaving my floors squeaky clean. They don’t scatter debris around; instead, they suck it all up in one go. It’s like magic!

However, when it comes to carpets, these vacuums let me down. Despite boasting about their hard bristles for carpet cleaning, the truth is that the bristles are incredibly soft. They only can suck the debris on the surface of low pile carpet. Beyond that, they are useless.

If you’re in the market for a BuTure vacuum that can handle carpets, I strongly recommend considering the BuTure VC10 model because it comes with Stiff Roller Brush.

Filtration System

The Winner: BuTure JR600

The VC50 features a 4-stage filtration system, while the JR600 takes it a step further with a 6-stage filtration system. This stage disparity might make you wonder which vacuum offers better filtration performance.

The JR600 has an additional motor filter

Let’s delve deeper into the filtration features of these vacuums. The JR600 has an additional motor filter, which may not immediately strike you as advantageous. However, this filter plays a crucial role in preventing dirt and debris from entering the motor, potentially causing blockages. A clogged motor can lead to a loss of power, emit dirty smoke, trigger check engine lights, and even result in engine failure. With the JR600’s filtration system, you can rest assured that your vacuum will have a longer lifespan and optimal performance.

Both of them come with washable sponges and HEPA filters. I advise washing these filters once a week to maintain their efficiency. However, with regular use, you should replace these filters with a separate filter package every 1-2 months for optimal performance.

This touchscreen interface adds a touch of class to the vacuuming experience.
